On December 8, 2015, a 14-0 vote gave the Los Angeles City Council's stamp of approval to the cutting-edge Clean Up Green Up measure. Now the policy moves on to the City Attorney to draft a final ordinance, to be reviewed by the City Council Planning and Land Use Management Committee in early 2016.
